Merger Completion
Brulines (Holdings) plc (AIM:BRU), the leading provider of draught alcoholic drinks volume, quality and profit protection systems for the UK licensed on-trade, confirms that it has completed, today, the acquisition of Nucleus Data Holdings Limited (“Nucleus”).
James Dickson, Chief Executive of Brulines, comments: “The OFT decision not to refer the proposed merger to the Competition Commission, and lack of challenge during the subsequent appeal period, validates our long-held vision that the combined Group will be even better placed to support the UK licensed on-trade in raising quality standards and productivity”.
“Today’s completion is an important development in the Group’s growth plans as it enables us to turn our vision into reality, not only for our combined user base in more than 21,500 installations across UK pubs, clubs and bars, but also for potential customers in the broader leisure sector. This landmark merger provides the strongest possible start to 2008, allowing us to further enhance product development, continue to strengthen the senior team and accelerate our entry into new markets.”
